The Background
While travelling to Minnesota I was fortunate enough to receive a sample of the local flavor, as recommended by my aunt Anne. I was hesitant at first, given my families proclivity for enjoying typical American Lagers like Miller Lite and Michelob Ultra. That said, when I learned that the beer was an Amber, I was a bit less reticent. They tend to be a great go-to beer for simplicity, meaning they are often very easy to pair with food successfully. And coming from an Italian family, that’s a very good note.
